Homeless

When you think about Jesus after he left Nazareth to begin his ministry on Earth, he had no home. He and his disciples were homeless. They counted on people like you and me to give them shelter and food.
When you see a homeless person on a corner, what do you do? I suspect you are like the majority of us who look the other way out of awkwardness, hoping the light changes quickly, but what if God woke you up in the middle of the night and asked, "what are you doing for my people, the people you pass on the streets every day"? He gave us the instruction to use the Book of Proverbs and He Had No Home.

We made the decision to give $3.00 and tuck everything inside the small proverbs. We keep them in our cars and pass them to the people on the corner when necessary. You will be blessed to find that, more often than not, the recipients ignore the money and start reading before you have driven away. The word of God speaks volumes and we never know who we are ministering to that need it beyond our comprehension.
